Mendocino

Description:

The original version of this piece was inspired by a trip my husband and I took to Mendocino, CA. We were walking in a windy field next to the ocean, when I heard lots of chirping and saw quick movements out of the corner of my eye. When I looked closer, it was a flock of pygmy nuthatches and chestnut-backed chickadees. I was marveling at how cute they all were, when one of the tiny chickadees flew directly at my head, trying to bully us into leaving! There is nothing I love more than something adorable acting tough. I knew I had to make a tribute to these guys once we got home.

My archival prints are printed with Epson Ultra Chrome inks on ultra premium matte paper. The image size is 11" x 14" and the paper size is 11.7" x 16.5" so that you may trim as needed to fit a frame. These prints are so crisp that you can actually see the texture of the canvas of the original! Prints will come titled, signed, and dated by me on the back. They are packaged rolled in mailing tubes due to their larger size.
